苏新宏，男，生于1954年，籍贯思茅，分别就读于云南艺术学院油画系、中央美术学院油画系。2008年9月23日，一代著名云南油画家苏新宏于不幸因病去世。
“和而不同”艺术的学习过程应该在于发现未知和良知，只要我们始终保持对生命的感动和对自然的敬畏，艺术是能有所作为的。
