承强，无党派人士，中国美术家协会会员，江苏省美术家协会理事，吴冠中艺术馆馆长，宜兴市美术家协会主席，宜兴市国画院、宜兴市油画院院长。师从金陵画派亚明、宋文治、魏紫熙、卢星堂先生。长期致力于中国画、油画创作。长期担任宜兴市美术家协会组织领导工作，出版有个人专集《大象无限·迁想妙得》。主持出版《吴冠中研究文集》，主持建设吴冠中艺术馆和修复吴冠中故居，主持建设中国宜兴艺术家村。2003年组织承办全国新文人画展；2012年组织承办“吴冠中艺术馆开馆暨全国中国画展”；2013年组织承办“相聚宜兴”全国工笔画展；2014年组织筹办“中国陶都·陶醉中国”全国中国画展，2015年、2016年承办吴冠中奖全国油画展。
