王召海，1960年出生于山东台儿庄古镇。现为中国美术家协会会员，中央国家机关美术家协会常务理事、中国美协敦煌创作中心创作委员。
幼年师承孟祥君先生学习油画，后得到著名画家黄金程、张宝珠教授指导。1978年进修于中央戏剧学院舞台美术设计系，后进修于中国美术学院山水班。2004年入中国画研究院李宝林工作室高研班。
2000年作品《山居图》入选中国美协主办的新世纪中国画三百件作品大展，《家住青峡绿阴间》入选中国美协主办的“亚亨杯”
中国画大展，《万木丛中有家人》入选中国美协主办的新世纪全国中国画、书法精品展；2001年作品《家住白云间》获中国美协
主办的“中华魂”美术大展优秀奖；2002年作品《希望的钟声》入选中国美协主办的“中国风情”中国画精品展；2005年作品
《蒙山秋晚》入选全国中国山水画，油画风景对比展，《茂林清幽》获中国美协主办的“长江颂”名家邀请展优秀奖；2006年
作品《高原印象》获中国美协主办的纪念长征胜利七十周年美术作品展优秀奖，获中国美协主办的纪念李苦禅艺术馆开馆提名
优秀奖。2006、2007年参加中国美协提名展六次，获奖四次。作品《家住水云间》等二幅作品被钓鱼台国宾馆收藏、人民大会堂宾馆、
二炮、中国科学院大唐电信等各大单位均为收藏。
