庄威，福建惠安人。擅长油画。，1956年1月出生于吉林，祖籍福建惠安，1972年考入安徽艺术学校美术专业学习绘画，1975年毕业留校任教，桃李满天下。1989年考入中央美术学院油画系进修，现任安徽艺术职业学院美术系主任，中国美术家协会会员，中国油画学会会员，安徽油画艺术委员会主任，名字辑入《中国美术年鉴》、《中国美术家人名大辞典》/作品多次参加全国美术作品展获奖及出国展出，在艺术界创造的宝贵艺术作品。
