王向明，1956生于上海，1986毕业于上海师范大学美术系，现在上海师范大学美术系任教。作品“渴望和平”曾获全国青年画展一等奖。作品“空间越来越小”曾获第七届全国美展银奖、台湾“隔山”大奖赛优秀奖、上海文学艺术联合会奖、加拿大“枫叶”佳作奖。1992在台湾举办题为“关于鸟类的倾述”的个展，作品曾发表于海内外多种专业性杂志，并为中国美术馆，上海美术馆，福岡美术馆以及海外私人收藏。
