孔凡平(1956.5—)曾用名文抒，辽宁盖县人。1982年毕业于鲁迅美术学院油画系，并留校任教。1985－1987年由国家文化部教育部公派赴阿尔及利亚高等美院留学。期间曾在欧洲、非洲数国考察学习。在阿尔及尔和鲁迅美术学院分别举办过作品数十次参加国内外重要展览，部分作品获奖，有些作品被中国美术馆和国外艺术机构收藏。多次应邀参加国内外展览、讲学和评选活动。创作多以肖像、风情为主，出版专著《孔凡平素描集》、《孔凡平油画作品精选》、《21世纪中国美术家――孔凡平》。出版译著《艺术家眼中的世界》、《高傲的野蛮人》、《油画肖像》。发表专业论文20余篇。现为中国美术家协会会员，鲁迅美术学院教授，北京艺鸣盛世文化传媒有限公司特邀艺术顾问。《乐趣》入选第六届全国美展，《撒哈拉风情》入选第七届全国美展，《小牧民》被中国美术馆收藏，《搏》入选第二届全国美展，《颉吉肖像》入选首届中国油画展。编译出版《艺术家眼中的世界》。
