王玉琦，1961年毕业于鲁迅美术学院。现为中国美术家协会会员、沈阳市群众艺术馆高级馆员、沈阳市美术家协会顾问、沈阳中山书画研究会常务会长、沈阳市满族联谊会副秘书长。历任辽宁省美术家协会理事、沈阳市文联委员、沈阳市美术家协会副主席、沈阳美术界首批十二位优秀美术家之一，并获沈阳市百位文艺名家的殊荣。长期从事年画和中国画的创作研究，尤其擅长水墨人物画，作品清新俊逸。近年来还沉潜于山水画的创作。多次深入到山区农村风采，画了大量写生，大胆的把西画技法揉合进传统的笔情墨韵之中，构图饱满，空灵生动，神采明快，乡土气息浓郁。先后举办了数次个展，受到美术界及广大观众好评。
多幅作品参加全国性美术展览或在国外展出。大量佳作散见于美术出版社等出版的美术书刊中。有的作品在全国、省、市美展中获奖。很多作品被博物馆等单位和个人收藏。
代表作品有《幸福泉》、《万代幸福泉》、《金牛奖》、《民族魂》、《希翼未来》、《孙福明》等。
