白羽平，1960年，7月3日生于山西右玉。
1979年，考入山西雁北艺术学校舞台美术专业学习。
1982年，山西雁北艺术学校毕业并留校任教。
1986年，考入中央民族学院美术系。
1993年，入中国美术家协会。
1997年，考入中央美术学院第九届油画研修班学习。
2000年，进入中央美术学院首届高级研修班学习。
2004年，调入北京画院任国家一级美术师。
2007年，任北京画院油画创作室主任；受聘为中国油画学会理事。
参展作品及获奖：
1985年，油画《赛外的云》、《上坡路》获山西省首届青年美展，并获一等奖（山西太原）。
1986年，油画《山间的小路》获前进中的中国青年美展鼓励奖。并收藏于中国美术馆（北京中国美术馆）。
1988年，油画《绿风》参加第一届中国油画展（中国上海）。
1992年，油画《河过九道弯》参加黄河画展。
1994年，油画《高原人家》参加第八届全国美术作品展；油画《流云》获中国油画风景展铜奖（北京中国美术馆）。
1997年，油画《高原》获走向新世纪全国青年油画展优秀奖（北京中国美术馆）；油画《高原》系列组画参加“重新组合”八人展（北京中国美术馆）。
1998年，油画《秋染石板坡》参加全国第九届美术作品展览；创作大型水墨画《宙》（山西大同）；油画《大平原》参加中国油画风景展（北京中国美术馆）。
2001年，油画《支前》获建党80周年油画展优秀奖（北京国家博物馆）。
2002年，油画《红色记忆——我爷我爸》参加中国人民解放军美术作品展（北京军事博物馆）。
2003年，油画《长城》、《圆明园》等多幅作品参加“北京风韵”系列展（北京中国美术馆）。
2004年，油画《黄河娶亲》等参加“同修与殊相”油画展（北京中国美术馆）；油画《恒古久远》参加第十届全国美术作品展（北京中国美术馆）；壁画《反抗者》获第十届全国美术作品展金奖（合作）（北京中国美术馆）。
2005年，油画《神枪手游击队》参加“永恒的记忆”纪念抗日六十周年美术作品展（北京画院美术馆）。
2007年，油画《白石老人》参加“精神与品格”油画展（北京中国美术馆）；油画《塞北的雪》参加“融合与创造”油画展（北京首都博物馆）；油画《高原系列组画》参加“同修与殊相”第二回展（北京中国美术馆）。
