金梅生，男（1902.3—1989.11）别名石摩，上海人，师从徐永清学习西画，1919年从师余泳青先生学习水彩画。1920年考入商务印书馆美术科专门从事月份牌的绘画，1930年成立了自己的画室，致力于创作月份牌画，近50年将毕生事业献给了中国商业艺术。
推向一个更深的层次，三人作品中均吸收了中国画与西画的精髓而又各有千秋。1949年后，金先生成为中国美术家协会理事，1956年受聘于上海画片社。1962年聘为上海市文史馆馆员、上海人民美术出版社特约年画家 。作品经常在全国年画大赛中获奖。
Jin Meisheng, male (1902.3-1989.11), alias Shimo, a Shanghai native, studied western painting from Xu Yongqing, and watercolor painting from Mr. Yu Yongqing in 1919. In 1920, he was admitted to the Art Department of the Commercial Press Museum to specialize in the painting of month cards. In 1930, he set up his own studio and devoted himself to the creation of month cards. In the past 50 years, he devoted his life to Chinese commercial art.
He is good at painting beautiful women in Chinese opera costumes. Together with Xie Zhiguang and Hang Zhiying, the three paintings have absorbed the essence of Chinese and Western paintings and each has its own merits. After 1949, Mr. Jin became a director of the Chinese Artists Association and was employed by Shanghai Picture Society in 1956. In 1962, he was employed as a librarian of Shanghai Museum of Culture and History and a special painter of Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. His works often win prizes in the National New Year's Painting Competition.
