薛广陈（光臣）1973年出生于河南焦作。毕业于中央美术学院油画系硕士研究生班。现为中国美术家协会河南分会会员，北京油画学会会员，河南省油画学会会员。焦作市美术家协会副秘书长。其作品多次参加国内外展览并获奖。
作品深受美术馆，画廊，机构，拍卖公司，评论家及收藏家的关注。是近些年来国内当代超写实油画很具有影响力的青年艺术家。
