1928年生，山东沂水人（祖籍青州）。辽北学院美术系毕业，先后从事电影、戏剧、舞台美术设计，担任美工师，设计和创作美术作品近万幅。从艺五十多年来，以画友为师，取各派之长，渐成自己国画、油画相结合的艺术风格和独创技法。1991年在京举办“傅氏三代书画展”，同年在台北国艺中心举办个人画展，2000年获北京“世界华人艺术展”铜奖，并授予“世界华人艺术家”称号，2001年获第三届全国书画展特别金奖，定位特级。同年参加“共产党人书画大展”获铜奖。出版有《傅汝有画集》、年画《龙女牧羊》等。传略载入《世界华人文学艺术名人录》、《亚洲艺坛名流》、《中国美术选集》等二十余部辞书，被授予“当代艺术成就家”荣誉称号，2002年被政府命名表彰为“泰山五老”荣誉称号。现为山东省黄埔军校同学会理事，泰安市联络组组长，山东画院高级画师，泰山五老书画院常务副院长，汉柏书画院副院长，泰山画院高级画师，沂水书画院名誉院长，美国洛杉矶炎黄艺术学会副会长。
