袁治国，1942年生于辽宁省辽阳市，高级工艺美术师，从事专业美术工作五十余年。中国美术家协会会员，辽宁省美术家协会会员，辽宁省中国画研究会会员，辽宁省老艺术家协会会员，辽阳市第七、八、九、十届政协委员，政协书画院常务院士；入编《中国美术界名作博览》、《中国当代美术家名人录》、《中国当代工艺美术名人辞典》、《中华人物大典》。部分作品刊登在省报、国家美术报刊物上，被香港、澳门等国际友人和收藏机构收藏。
