冷旭的国画、书法和篆刻作品多次在全国大展、国际交流展中获大奖。曾荣获中国书法最高奖“首届中国书法兰亭奖·创作奖”、第二届全国电视书法篆刻大赛一等奖、全国首届扇面书法艺术展一等奖、国际书画精英大赛青年组一等奖、国际中国书画博览会银奖、为亚运会集资书画艺术大奖赛金奖等。先后荣获“2000年中国百杰画家”、“辽宁省优秀书法家”、辽宁省宣传文化系统首届“四个一批”文艺人才、“十百千人才工程”十人层次学科带头人等荣誉称号，作品先后出展到美国、匈牙利、等十几个国家和地区。
