龙红，男，重庆人，1967年3月生。2007年获东南大学艺术学专业博士学位，2007年7月至2009年6月在清华大学艺术学学科从事博士后研究工作，并获得第四十四批中国博士后科学基金二等资助金。现为重庆大学艺术学院副院长，教授，博士生导师，同时兼任教育部艺术学理论教育指导委员会委员、中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员。
主要从事艺术史论研究，论文《论大足石窟艺术的特殊意义》（独著），刊载于《美术》2005年第11期，并被2006年人大复印资料《造型艺术》2006年第3期全文转载，2007年荣获重庆市人民政府第五届社会科学优秀成果三等奖；论文《论陈之佛先生的艺术教育思想》，刊发于《艺术百家》2006年第5期。2005年获得重庆市高等学校艺术展演教师艺术论文评比一等奖；专著《风俗的画卷：大足石刻艺术》（独著），2011年荣获重庆市人民政府第七届社会科学优秀成果“二等奖”；著作《抗战时期陪都重庆书画艺术年谱》（第一作者），2013年荣获中国大学出版社协会颁发优秀学术著作“一等奖”；2012年获得重庆市艺术教育“先进个人”荣誉称号。
