黄强苓，1985年毕业于西南师范学院美术系，长期从事行政管理及素描、色彩、中国画和装饰等课程的教学工作。幼时就在其父的悉心指导下学习绘画，其绘画作品题材广泛、内涵丰富，善于把中西绘画和装饰艺术的技法和形式融入其中，形成了具有鲜明个性特征和时代审美语言的艺术风格。在国家级艺术类核心期刊《美术观察》、《装饰》等报刊、网站、各级展览会、画册发表论文和美术作品100余篇（件）；主编教材和专著《中国画写意花鸟画教程》、《中国画基础》、《色彩艺术》等5部。
曾任第四届全国农运会吉祥物评委、四川省高校美术专业联合招生组组长。现为全国中文核心期刊《包装工程》评审专家、人民美术出版社艺术教育专家委员会副主任、四川省中小企业科技咨询专家团专家、四川省轻工业设计师联合会专家咨询委员会顾问、成都蜀绣工程技术研究中心学术委员会专家，成都纺织高等专科学校艺术系主任、成都理工大学广播影视学院和阿坝师专客座教授。
