王康乐（1907.10-2006.1）沪上著名的山水画家。男，汉族，浙江奉化人。幼习书画，1934、1940、1947年分别拜著名国画大师黄宾虹、郑午昌、张大千三位先生为师学习山水画，尤其潜心钻研“虹庐画派”，1924至1932年上海商务印书馆图画部设计工作，1940至1949年上海新华电影制片厂布景师，1952至1959年上海人民出版社美术科，1960至1972年上海工艺美校任国画教师。历任上海市文史研究馆馆员，中国美术家协会会员，上海书画院顾问，黄宾虹研究会顾问等职。
在80余年的艺术生涯中，王老融会各家，博采众长，并不断开拓新境界，敢于否定自我、逆难而上，逐渐形成了气势磅礴、凝重敦厚、翰墨淋漓的山水画风格，80岁后着意于浓墨与重彩结合来开拓山水画审美视野的艺术新境界，被世人誉为“国画中的油画”而在画坛独树一帜。王康乐先生“不继承无从创作，不创作无以自存”的艺术感悟也在业界传为美谈。是继朱屺瞻、刘海粟之后的中国画坛百岁老人之一。1987至1996分别于香港、新加坡、纽约举办个展。曾于9月20日王康乐百岁华诞之际在上海美术馆举办“王康乐先生百岁画展”，并由上海人民美术出版社出版大型画册《王康乐百岁画集》。1997年在其故乡国家级风景旅游区溪口镇，建造了占地19亩的“王康乐艺术馆”。
