王玉林，甘肃敦煌人。2007年大学本科毕业于中央美术学院并获文学学士学位。2010年进修于中央美术学院蒋采蘋重彩画工作室第十二届重彩画高研班。受教于莫晓松、蒋采蘋、唐秀玲、苏百钧、杜平让等先生，主攻工笔花鸟画。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国工笔画学会会员、北京工笔重彩画学会会员，甘肃省工笔画协会副会长、北京中国工笔花鸟画院画家。
作品获得由中国美术家协会主办的“首届朝圣敦煌全国美术作品展”优秀奖。“中国当代花鸟画展”优秀奖、“2003年全国中国画作品展”银奖、“甘肃省首届写生画展”一等奖、“全国小品精作扇面展”三等奖、“中央美院毕业生作品展优秀奖”。作品入选全国第五、六、七届工笔画大展、“西部大地情全国中国画作品展”、“中国国际美术双年展-当代花鸟画艺术大展”、“2004年全国中国画作品展”、“全国小幅工笔重彩画作品展”、“中国民族风情工笔人物画提名展”、“首届全国线描艺术展”、“和谐家园-全国工笔画展”等。
