陈自昭，福建长乐人。擅长中国画。1958年福建师大艺术系毕业。曾任中国美术家协会福建分会副秘书长。现任福建画院专职画家、特级美术师。作品《阿里山一思亲》、《昌盛图》、《林韵》入选全国美展并获奖。出版有《陈自昭画集》。长期深入海岛、渔村、山乡田园，多次赴海南岛、新疆少数民族地区写生创作。59-60年间版画《回港》在上海《文汇报》、《解放日报》发表并入选全国美展，农村人物速写在《人民日报》发表。作品《阿里山中-思亲》入选全国首届少数民族美展。《百万雄师渡大江》、《昌盛图》、《赶集》、《山村小学》等作品发表在《福建画报》、《青年博览》、《福建日报》、《人民日报》，山水画、人物画作品多次在中国美术馆展出。1997年山水画《昌盛图》为日本村上美术馆收藏，《林韵》入选第十二届亚细亚国际美术展览会（亚洲美术家联盟主办），《武夷山下》为中国政策科学研究会文化政策委员会收藏并被邀请作为中国书画家和社会名流参加中国名人名家书画精品展。1998年《昌盛图》二件入选文化部中国艺术城、中国文联、中国美协举办的金彩奖牡丹杯全国大展和中国文联举办《中华民族书画长卷》99年在中国美术馆展出。多年来致力传统中国画研习和对笔墨技法创新探索，追求风格新颖和富有时代感。得到海内外同道好评，作品和艺术业绩入编《中国美术家协会国际互联网》、《中华人民共和国人物辞典》、《中华魂》、《民族之花中华人民共和国五十周年大庆书画名家作品集》、《当代中国名家书画宝鉴》、《东方之子》、《世界名人录》、《辉煌成就·世纪曙光》（2000年珍藏版）、《当代中国美术家》等多种大型典集和光盘。中国美术院首任院长肖锋教授撰文《壮心不已，创新不止--介绍画家陈自昭》，1998年荣获当代优秀文艺家称号，北京中国公关集团提名香港科学院文学艺术学院荣誉博士称号，出版有《陈自昭画集》、著作《中国少数民族简编畲族文艺》（人民出版社）、出版《繁荣宣传画创作》（《美术》杂志发表）。

Chen zizhao, from Changle, Fujian Province. Good at Chinese painting. In 1958, he graduated from the Art Department of Fujian Normal University. He used to be the Deputy Secretary General of Fujian Branch of China Artists Association. At present, he is a full-time painter and super artist of Fujian Academy of painting. His works "Alishan yisiqin", "prosperous picture" and "Linyun" were selected into the national art exhibition and won awards. He has published the collection of Chen zizhao's paintings.
