区锦生，广东省南海人，1947年出生于广西梧州，1967年毕业于广州美术学院附中，擅长中国画。
作品曾多次选入全国美展、广东省美展及出国展览，曾得著名画家邵宇、关山月、黎雄才先生的关心和指导，人物、山水、花鸟画工意结合、并吸收西洋画色与光的表现，风格清新优美，雅俗共赏，不少作品被日本、法国、美国等友人和港澳台同胞购藏，其艺术涉猎广泛，1992年设计的金凤图案被选市徽，现为广东省美术家协会理事、佛山市文联秘书长、佛山市美术家协会常务主席。
