王超

王超，原名王继超，1939年12月生于天津。中国美术家协会会员；天津工艺美院教授。1963年中央美术学院中国画系毕业，受业于李可染、李苦禅、叶浅予、蒋兆和等师长。曾任天津工艺美术设计院讲师。中国美术家协会会员，东方美术交流学会会员，李可染艺术基金会艺术委员会委员，中国人民大学日本人文社会研究中心客座教授，河山画会理事。1964年在天津举办首届个人展；1980年在北京举办“王超画展”；1982年在青岛举办“《王超画展》；1983年出版《王超画选》；1993年在中国美术馆举办“王超书画展”。还出版有《王超画集》等。
自1964年以来，在天津、北京、表岛等地举办“王超画展”;1999年中央美术家协会等单位主办“王超巡回画展”，首展在天津，同时兴办《王超研究》一书首选式及“王超艺术研究讨会”，后在烟台、深圳、东莞、武昌等地展出。他擅长写意画，代表作有《漓江烟雨》、《红柿》、《酸哉不食也》、《绿牡丹》、《大象自白》、《久祥图》、《恬》、《踏歌行》、《雄风图》、《有志者事竟成》等。作品收入《中国现代美术全集》、《当代书法大观》、《中国近现代美术书法全集》等。具重要影响的论文《我的新旧观》、《黄宾虹画散论》、《畅我怀抱》、《兰亭初探》等。王超在绘画的同时，潜心精研书法和书画理论，还是们出色的书法家。王起作品寓意深邃，雄浑刚健，其旺盛的生命力，气宇不凡。令人耳目一新。作品经常参加国内外重大展出。多次获得金奖。曾荣获英国剑桥名人证书，1983年出版《王超画选》，深受前辈的赞许，吴作人评“神兼二李，境透清奇”;蒋兆和评“艺贵有风格，真情流笔端，王超之作诚如是也”。刘海粟评“勇于创新”;理论家评“王超是学者型实力派的书画大家”。
