曹湘秦，女，1945年生，陕西西安人。国家一级美术师。1964至1966年陕西省美协学员学习班，60年代初跟随长安画派大师石鲁、何海霞研习中国画，1966年至1968年西安电力学校美术教师，1968至1979年西安交通局工会
干部，曾研修毕业于西安美术学院（1979至1981年）、陕西美协创研室，1981至1995年西安长安画院画廊、新兴公司美术创作展览，1995至2002年西安长安画院院长。她的作品《太白林场》、《黄河曲》、《画中游》、《纯洁的思念》等百余幅画曾在美国、日本、东南亚、台湾等地区国家展出，并被当地政府及博物馆收藏。87年设计主持香港宋城《长安花灯展》，90年九一年设计主持组织澳门《陕西民间工艺大展》、《长安画派源流展》93年赴日本、台湾出席《长安画院展》、《九三两岸美术观摩展》，95年赴台举办《家族画展》，96年组织参加96云南《中国书画现代名人作品展》，98参加清明公奠黄陵《全国中年画家邀请团》活动。及澳门《中国当代著名书画家笔下之澳门》作品邀请展。她还研究撰写多篇关于长安派研究之文章，她的名字被编入《世界名人录》第一卷，《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国现代美术家名人大词典》中。
