姚秀明（修明），1966年5月出生，山东苍山人．毕业于解放军艺术学院美术系中国画专业，深造于中央美术学院国画系研修班，济南军区专职画家。
担任中国文联第九次全国代表大会代表、中国美术家协会会员，中国工笔画学会会员，山东省美术家协会理事、济南军区美术书法研究院副秘书长、中国人民大学客座教授。
姚秀明先生传统基本功底深厚，主攻国画人物，兼画山水、花鸟，工、写皆能．注重传统与创新，强调以作品抒发对生命的感悟，追求清新、典雅、隽逸的创作风格。近年来姚秀明先生多幅书画作品在报刊、杂志上发表，50余幅书画作品被加拿大友人收藏．其作品和传略入编《中国书画作品精选》、《山东书画家》（A卷）等10多部典集，近年来诸多精品远销日本、韩国、美国、东南亚及香港、澳门等国家和地区，其独具风格的花卉、虫草颇受爱好者欢迎，市场认知度较高。另外姚秀明先生多幅作品获奖，其中：
