张近生，河南省开封市人，汉族，大学毕业，张善子、张大千第二代弟子，大风堂传人，别署啸风堂主，虎画家。
●1974年投近代中国著名画家张善子、张大千昆仲入室弟子李宝铎门下，专攻画走兽。
●1986年《月华初上声震天中》参加中国六大古都“中国画联展”。
●1993年《饱虎图》入选《海内外河南藉著名书画家作品邀请展作品集》（特邀）。
●1994年《群英会》入选《中国现代艺术家作品润格》（特邀）。
●1995年《张近生百虎画展》在郑州开幕（省美协、省花鸟画研究会、省中国画研究院、省书画院联办）。
●1996年《悄悄话》入选《中国扇面书画艺术作品集》（金奖）。
●1997年《威震环宇》入选《中日现代美术通鉴》（特邀）。
●1998年《虎年胜意》虎作精品挂历出版。

●2004年12月~2005年1月应邀赴台湾进行文化交流，并在台北议会举办大型画展。
●2005年1月2日，台湾《中国时报》发表《中国画家张近生虎画台北市议会展出》记者专访报道。
●2005年1月5日，赴张大千故居摩耶精舍，在“张大千灵厝”前祭祖，认祖归宗。祭文被台北故宫博物院收藏。
