阮观东：男，河南新县人，毕业于天津美术学院，现任河北美术出版社美术编审，国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员。国画《秋》入选2000新人新作展等全国美展。专著有《儿童美术大全·国画》。编辑有《西洋绘画名作选集》、《任熊任薰任颐任预精品》、《题画诗选释》等。出版有《阮观东写意山水画》、《怎样学习中国画》等。作品《苍岩阅尽人间事》入选2004年首届中国美术家协会会员中国画精品展。

1987年在南昌八大山人纪念馆主办国画展。
