任重，1976年生，职业画家。现为宁夏美术家协会会员、银川美术家协会理事，出版《任重工笔高士作品选》、《任重扇面作品集》、《任重花鸟画集》。幼承庭训，随父习诗文书画。对传统文化有特殊之爱好和认识，不独以画见长。其人心静如水、志节高迈，治学态度严谨勤奋。故其作品不论山水、人物、花鸟渊雅静穆，清逸高古。幼时即屡获国内外美展大奖；16岁时作品《白山茶》获全国“明星杯”书画大展金奖；台湾环护书画大展优异奖。曾获“法国艾菲尔铁塔艺术杯”佳作奖。1997年作品入选“97首届欧洲中国艺术大展”和中华人民共和国文化部主办“北京首届国际扇面书画艺术大展”。
出版有《任重工笔高士作品选》、《任重扇面作品集》、《任重花鸟画集》等。
