林厚成，又名林成。1963年出生于山东省青州市。自幼师从王冠中先生，后得王界山、丁宁原诸老师指教。2011年进修于清华大学美术学院王界山山水画高研班。现为中国美术家协会会员、青州市美术家协会副主席、青州山水画学会副会长。
2012年8月，国画《出击》入选“中华人民共和国文化部、中国人民解放军总政治部、中国美术家协会主办的“庆祝中国人民解放军建军85周年全国美术作品展”；2014年，国画《山水之间享太平》入选“全军军事题材作品展”；2015年，国画《山村寄语》获“重温经典.第二届娄东(太仓)全国中国画山水画展”优秀奖。
1999年，《一山飞峙大江边》入选中国美协举办的毛泽东诗词创意画展；2002年，获第三届《中国画家》学术年展百名优秀作品奖；2010年，入选中国美协举办的全国中国画作品展；2013年，获潍坊市美术家协会二十五届写生展一等奖；2014年，第十八届山东美术新人新作展；2015年，国画《碧水秋山韵秋声》入选首届“八大山人”全国山水画作品展；2015年9月，国画《沂蒙深处》入选2015“万年浦江”全国中国画山水作品展。
