郎军,笔名阿郎。1952年出生于辽宁铁岭。中国美术家协会会员、辽宁省作家协会会员、辽宁省翻译家协会会员。毕业于中国艺术研究院研究生院，师从当代中国画名家杜滋龄先生。作品基本功扎实，并刻意求新，富有浓烈的生活气息，在长期的艺术创作实践中，逐渐形成自己的风格，作品以反映北方民族鞍马生活及历史题材为主要特色。
美术创作主要成果：
2005年，作品《百战山河》获抗战胜利60周年优秀奖，并在人民日报上刊载。同年画集《马与人》在香港中和文化出版公司出版发行。
2006年，作品在中国历史博物馆展出，荣宝斋出版社出版大型画册《海岳风华》选登8幅作品。
2007年，作品《亮剑》在总政治部和解放军报举办的建军80周年画展中荣获二等奖。
2008年，由荣宝斋出版的《中国当代瓷画艺术》刊登其绘瓷艺术作品10余件。
2011年，作品《腾》在中国美协《美术》杂志和上海美术馆联合举办的纪念辛亥革命百年展中获优秀奖。
2012年，由天津杨柳青画社出版“中国近现代名家精品丛书”——《郎军作品精选》。
