崔培鲁，1944年出生于山东枣庄市，早年就读于临沂艺校，师从著名画家王小古和皮之先，后入中央美院国画系研修班，国画创作推崇郭怡孮“大花鸟”创作理念，并倡行传统生活学养感情的融汇和时代精神的表达。1992年调深圳特区创建南山画院。94年年初二度赴港举办画展，刘海粟大师为其作品题写了“气韵生动”赞语并收为关门弟子。现为中国美术家协会会员、中华名人协会会员、中国书画家联谊会理事、中国和平统一促进会书画联谊委员会委员，全球华人华商联合总会书画院院长。
崔先生作品以中国花鸟画见长，兼擅人物山水，他的葡萄、牡丹等代表作品早于上个世纪八十年代就被收藏于北京人民大会堂和美国维吉尼亚洲国家博物馆等众多中外机构。许多作品在国内外大展中获奖。
崔培鲁先生是位多年工作在社会文化前沿的艺术精英、实力派书画名家。他潜心于中国画五十余年，是当今较有影响力的中国画坛领军人物。他的花鸟画曾被中国文联出版社推举为《中国艺坛五大流派》之一，多年来以“崔葡萄”、“崔牡丹”之雅号享誉画坛。其雅俗共赏、清新明快、独树一帜的艺术风格早为广大欣赏者交口赞颂。
