甘长霖笔名木犁、字沛然，一九四六年生。现为海军政治部创作室创作员，国家一级美术师，河北（今天津静海）人。擅国画。自小喜绘画，初中毕业在家务农，后在县文化馆美术教师指导下进行创作。1968年参军。曾任海军航空兵某部创作室创作员，1979年调北京海军航空兵政治部创作室任创作员。自1966年以来，作品多次参加全国全军美展并获奖。多件作品被中国美术馆，北京美协、日本，山东翰墨缘画廊等学术机构收藏。作品有《循踪说梦》、《取人之长》、《同甘苦》等。
主要作品《洪流滚滚》获全国第九届美展银奖、全军新作一等奖，并入选“百年中国画展”；《秋阳夕照》获全军第十届美展银奖、全国第二届国画展银奖；《腊梅》获全国当代花鸟画艺术大展金奖。特邀参加全国第十届美展，全国首届写意画展。出版有《甘长霖花鸟画集》。
