蒋开发，名犟牛，字逆流。祖籍绍兴，1961年生于杭州。毕业于中国美术学院获博士学位，其山水博导为卓鹤君教授，理论博导为任道斌教授。博士毕业创作《西溪烟霞》荣获一等奖。
蒋开发现为中国美院外聘教师，西泠书画院特聘高级画师、日中开发书道协会会长、中国名家书画研究院副院长、国际影视明星书画院副院长兼艺术总监、世界书画家协会加拿大总会副会长。
6岁开始随父亲蒋永泉先生习书画。　
10岁拜西泠印社著名金石书画家钱大礼先生为师，学习基本功等，后拜中国美术学院著名山水画教授孔仲起先生、花鸟画教授卢坤峰先生为师，专攻山水花卉及绘画理论，并受到中国美术学院童中焘、周沧米、吴山明等教授的亲授和指点。　
1984年拜西泠印社社长郭仲选先生为师，专修书法和理论。　
1991年进入中国美术学院中国画系深造水墨画艺。　　
1993年去日本留学。　
1995年考入日本东京崎玉大学专研油画及西洋画理论。
2005年—2008年回国就读于中国美院并获得山水博士学位。

人民日报、光明日报、中国美术报、华声报、北京晚报、中国文化报、朝日新闻、东武朝日、《中国巨龙》、《东武新闻》、《人民中国》、《东方博雅社藏品集》、《国际联谊画集》、等30家新闻和美术杂志上发表，并由中央电视台等进行专题报道，作品还参加法国、意大利、美国、加拿大、香港、新加坡、等国际性的展览。获奖：1969年，“浙江省第一届青少年书画大奖赛”获一等奖。（杭州市）1980年，“北京首届大学生书画展”获二等奖。（北京故宫博物馆）1991年，“全国‘西子杯’中国画大奖赛”获二等奖（北京市）1996年——1998年，全日本第三届、第四届、第五界“现代日艺公募展”先后获“全日本美术新闻社奖”、“东京都足立区长赏”、“朝日新闻社奖”。1998年10月——12月，国际美术审议会主办的“国际艺术巡回展”先后在日本、法国、意大利分别获得“全日本美术新闻社奖”、“金牌”、“金牌”。
蒋开发出版的作品集有《蒋开发山水画集》、《蒋开发画集》、《蒋开发绘画集》、《乡情书画》《蒋开发青瓷国画》、《蒋开发博士论文集》、《蒋开发案头随笔》、《蒋开发梅花精品集》、《蒋开发青花瓷珍品集》等。
1983年——1992年共举办9次个展，其中1990年在北京中国画研究院举办。1995年——2000年，共举办39次个展，其中在三越、崎立现代美术馆、练马美术馆、中日友好美术馆等。

Jiang Kaifa, the name stubborn cattle, the word countercurrent. His ancestral home is Shaoxing. He was born in Hangzhou in 1961. Graduated from the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts with a doctorate degree, his landscape guidance is Professor Zhuo Hejun, and his theory guidance is Professor Ren Daobin. The doctoral graduation work Xixi Yanxia won the first prize.

Jiang Kai is now an external teacher of China Academy of Fine Arts, a senior painter of Xiling Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, president of Japan-China Development Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, deputy director of Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, deputy director of International Film and Television Star Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and vice president of Canadian Association of World Association of Calligraphers and Painters.

At the age of 6, he began to learn painting and calligraphy with his father, Mr. Jiang Yongquan.

At the age of 10, Mr. Qian Dali, a famous Jinshi calligrapher and painter from Xiling Printing Society, studied basic skills and so on. Later, Mr. Kong Zhongqi, a famous professor of landscape painting in the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, and Mr. Lu Kunfeng, a professor of flower and bird painting, became teachers, specializing in landscape flowers and painting theory. They were personally taught and instructed by professors such as Tong Zhongtao, Zhou Cangmi and Wu Shanming of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1984, Mr. Guo Zhongxuan, president of Baixiling Printing Society, was a teacher specializing in calligraphy and theory.

In 1991, he entered the Department of Chinese Painting of China Academy of Fine Arts to further study ink painting.

He went to Japan to study in 1993.

In 1995, he was admitted to Tokyo Yamazaki University, Japan, specializing in oil painting and Western painting theory.

From 2005 to 2008, he returned to China to study at the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts and obtained a doctorate degree in landscape.

People's Daily, Guangming Daily, China Art Daily, Huasheng Daily, Beijing Evening News, China Culture Daily, Asahi News, Dongwu Asahi, China Dragon, Dongwu News, People's China, Oriental Boya Collection, International Friendship Painting Collection, and other 30 news and art magazines were published, and the works were also featured by CCTV. International exhibitions in France, Italy, the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. Award: In 1969, "Zhejiang Province First Youth Painting and Calligraphy Competition" won the first prize. (Hangzhou) In 1980, "Beijing First College Students Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" won the second prize.
