穆永瑞，北京日报高级编辑。教育学院美术系毕业。曾任北京日报美术部主任、首都美术记者协会会长。中国美术家协会会员，北京美术家协会理事、北京职工书画协会副主席。
作品被中南海，毛主席纪念堂、天安门、刘少奇纪念馆、张闻天纪念馆、北京美术家协会等多家单位收藏，曾获宝丰杯国画大赛一等奖、全国速写大赛优秀奖、中国新闻奖、首都新闻美术一等奖。
同时出版有《三十六计》、《资治通鉴》《史记人物》等多种连环画和《实力派画家穆永瑞》、《穆永瑞中国画作品选》。并于2006年元旦在北京市劳动人民文化宫举办了《穆永瑞中国画展览》。展览展出国画作品50多件和40幅插图、速写等。展览受到人民日报、人民日报海外版、工人日报、光明日报、中国文化报、中国艺术报、北京日报、北京晚报、北京青年报等多家媒体的关注。
