徐鸿延，陕西师范大学美术学院副教授，硕士生导师，从事中国山水画教学与研究工作。中国美术家协会会员。陕西省文联“德艺双馨”优秀会员称号获得者。

出版画集有：《徐鸿延山水写生集》、《徐鸿延画集》、《徐鸿延山水画集》等。绘画作品在《人民日报》、《光明日报》、《陕西日报》、《西安晚报》、《文艺研究》、《陕西画报》等报刊、杂志上发表，入选《当代中国画精品选》、《第四届当代中国山水画作品集》、《中国书画鉴藏》、《中韩美术作品集》、《三十年三十家·当代山水画名家作品集》、等书画集。多次参加国内外各种画展。参加中韩美术作品展并入选作品集，参加文化部主办、大唐西市承办的土耳其、阿塞拜疆、亚美尼亚等国中国年、中国日“中国当代美术家作品展”。参加中国文联等主办、大唐西市承办的“彩绘丝路”活动，出访土耳其、希腊、意大利等国进行艺术考察。近年来多次举办“陕西当代中青年画展”、“徐鸿延师生展”、“‘以形媚道’四人山水画展”等联展。《沣峪行》获中国美协主办的“纪念中国共产党诞辰80周年延安颂美术作品展览”优秀奖，《家住终南福寿多》获《光明日报》主办的“第二届全国中国画大奖赛”铜奖。
