1970年出生于福建省漳州市。曾就读于福建中师美专、中国美术学院、中国艺术研究院、中国画创作院。现为国务院中央文史研究馆书画院研究员，中国美协会员，东方美术学院客座教授，云峰画苑画师。

1990年《乡音》获纽约“苏和十一届艺术大展”优秀奖。
1991年《寂静》入选“现代中国画大赛”一等奖。
1992年《黄河颂》获“中国画大赛”一等奖；

2003年《山岳晨曲》入选福建省美协主办的“闽南金三角美术作品联展”；
《乡音叠曲》入选中国美协主办的“海潮杯”中国画大展。于北京、上海、广州、大连、青岛、杭州举办个人作品巡回展。
2004年《潮夕和船》获中国美协主办的“第二届全国少数民族美术作品展”铜奖。
