娄正纲，1967年出生。祖籍邳州。幼从父亲娄德平学书。从小就打下了深厚的功底。被著名书法家林散之誉为“大器可成”。12岁，她以“智力超常儿童”资格，破例入中央美术学院深造。并由教育部副部长朱丹二位老人负责指导她的学习。作品被荣宝斋、宝古斋、北京画店、中国美术馆、黑龙江博物馆、辽宁博物馆、吉林博物馆等多处收藏。19岁，娄正纲东渡日本，攻读东方美术史。第二年，她便在东京八重洲画廊举办了“娄正纲书展”，作品深受日本各界欢迎。

“小书法家娄正纲”的书画才能、文化知识和智力水平得到社会各界的高度评价，被教育部认定为“智力超常儿童”，选送到中央美术学院学习书画，教育部副部长董纯才、中央美术学院党委书记朱丹先生等四人作为监护人，成为中央美术学院年龄最小的学生。在学习期间，其书画技法得到刘海粟、吴作人、董寿平、沙孟海、陈叔亮、赵朴初、李苦禅、王雪涛、黄胄、黄苗子、林散之、费新我、武中奇、启功、舒同、周慧君、范曾等诸多书画大师的精心指导。
1980年参加“首届全国少年儿童书法展览会”，获一等奖。
其书法作品被人民大会堂、中国美术馆、中国历史博物馆、故宫博物院、荣宝斋、北京画店、黑龙江省博物馆、辽宁省博物馆、吉林省博物馆等收藏，并多次作为礼品赠送给外国领导人。
1981年当选为中国书法家协会第一届全国代表大会会员，是中国书法家协会年龄最小的会员。
参加由澳大利亚广播局主办的“国际书法比赛”，获一等奖，也是年龄最小的获奖者。
在加拿大首都渥太华，首次在海外举办“小书法家娄正纲作品展”。
