黄胄(1925.3—1997.4.23)中国画艺术大师,社会活动家,收藏家。
中国第一座大型民办艺术馆——炎黄艺术馆缔造者;中国画研究院、中国工艺美术馆筹建者;黄胄美术基金会设立者。带头捐赠自己书画作品与古代文物、书画收藏。主持具有深远影响的“93科学与艺术研讨会”“95经济与文化研讨会”等若干重要展览及学术活动。黄胄独创性地将速写融入中国画,开启了全新的人物画笔墨范式,拓展了中国画艺术语言。黄胄的社会活动与艺术实践,对中国文化艺术事业做出了杰出贡献。有大量艺术作品及《黄胄作品集》《黄胄谈艺术》等三十余部著作传世。

人物简介

黄胄
,男,字映斋,长安画派代表人物。因其父四十多岁方得此子,取乳名“老傻”,以求平安。“黄胄”是初中时自己起的笔名,以后一直沿用此名。曾用名梁叶子、苗迪。文革中作品曾题名梁蓬、梁泉。1925年3月生于河北蠡县,后迁居西安。早年参加革命,任西北军区战士读物出版社编辑。1942年任蠡县中学美术教员。1946年任陕西省西安雍华图书杂志社主编。1949年5月参加中国人民解放军从事部队美术工作,任西北军区政治部文化创作员,美术组组长。1955年任总政治部文化部创作员。1959年,任中国人民革命军事博物馆美术公司顾问。1981年任中国画研究院副院长。黄胄是中国著名的艺术家,第六、七届全国政协委员,第八届全国政协常务委员,原轻工业部工艺美术公司顾问,中国美术家协会常务理事。

生平经历

童年时代
1925年3月31日出生于河北省蠡县梁家庄。自幼酷爱绘画,自学成才。
1933年随母亲到陕西宝鸡上小学。
1939年(已卯,十四岁)2月15日,日军飞机轰炸潼关,后又轰炸西安,黄胄随母亲和姐姐逃难到宝鸡,在宝鸡纺纱厂办的惠工中学读书。一次学校组织的体育比赛中,他获得一面上面写着“炎黄之胄”的锦旗。经语文老师讲解后,遂取名黄胄,立志做有为的炎黄子孙。
1941年因父亲病故初中二年级辍学。
八岁前在家乡渡过。从小接触了大人玩狮子、踩高跷等民间杂耍;看了城隍庙里因果报应的民间壁画;常听母亲吴建芝讲述二十四孝的民间故事。祖父梁景峰务农之余,爱好唱戏,每年都当村里会首,搭台子唱戏。父亲梁建勋先是乡村先生,后参加旧军队,喜爱书画艺术。这些对他童年艺术兴趣的培养起到了潜移默化的影响,使他对美术产生了浓厚的兴趣。
黄胄从童稚时就显示出艺术天分。他上学时常在书本上涂画;写大仿常是中途辍笔,画起戏中人,能分清并画出戏中人物脸谱,也画家畜,给父亲写信也要画上几个小人。一次,村中一位老者头戴草帽骑一辆自行车从他家门口经过,他立刻用土块在墙上画出一个头戴草帽骑自行车的老头。祖父看后让他再画一个,他很快在地上又画了一幅同样造型的画来。
结识恩师
1942年(壬午,十七岁)7月,著名画家赵望云迁居西安,经赵望云同乡刘持钧介绍,他认识了赵望云。他把自己的速写给赵老师看,没想到,受到了赵望云老师的赞赏和鼓励。
1943年夏拜著名画家赵望云先生为师。
1944年随著名画家韩乐然在八百里秦川旅行写生。
1945年(乙酉,二十岁)秋,他一人先期返回西安为老师看守宅院。期间,除了画画,又写小说,并向报刊投稿。用“黄胄”笔名,第一次在《西安夜报》上发表鲁迅小说《示众》插图,兴奋不已。冬,赵望云介绍他去河南开封《民报》社工作,赵望云好友傅恒书任《民报》社长。期间,他创作《负荷》等漫画作品,受到好评。结识了姚雪垠、刘砚和旅美爱国华侨画家司徒乔等人。
人生转折
1946年心怀救国救民的使命感,赴河南黄泛区写生。
1947年(丁亥,二十二岁)继续任《雍华》杂志编辑。在第八期以梁叶子笔名撰文《画家与时代》,对名人雅士玩世不恭者极尽贬斥,进一步表达自己的艺术观。撰文道:“要做—个新时代的画家,只是会追求与开创自己的美的道路,只是自己吃饱了饭便忘了那些没有吃饭的同胞是不够的,他是应当和别的艺术一样,永远站在时代的前端,不是同样的可视为时代的号角与黎明的晓钟吗?”他的艺术思想、艺术道路更加明确。3月,徐庶之拜赵望云为师。7月30日,韩乐然老师从乌鲁木齐飞往兰州途中飞机失事不幸遇难,他知道后十分悲痛,怀着沉重的心情,来到兰州老师家里,吊唁老师,慰问师母。冬,方济众辞师还乡。
1948年(戊子,二十三岁)年初,《雍华》杂志因经费困难,被迫停刊,共出十期。“在期刊里,看出他不凡的手笔。黄泛区的毛笔速写,还有工厂速写和戏剧速写,大幅图画和木刻。题材都是人物和毛驴之类。虽然还带有老师的影子和三分稚嫩气,但所绘人物之传神、造型之准确、线条之流畅,和他五十年代的速写水准风格已很接近了。”美术评论家程征看后这样评价他。
在办《雍华》杂志期间,他还在西北中学教过图画课。夏,随赵望云老师到青海祁连山少数民族地区旅行写生。他们的作品在兰州展出时,他代表老师去机场接著名油画家、美术事业家常书鸿先生。在机场,常书鸿见到他随身携带着自己制作的自动速写画夹,很新奇,画夹展开后足有一二丈长的横幅,上面画满了各种人物和毛驴的速写,奔放自如,了无拘束。常书鸿激动地说:“你这种拳不离手,曲不离口的努力,将来肯定成为了不起的大画家啊!”
西北行辕主任张治中将军前往画展参观后,邀请他们去新疆写生,他们乘飞机去了乌鲁木齐,用了近三个月时间画了大量当地民族风俗生活作品,春节临近才返回西安。徐庶之看到他的作品后说:“画得很好,我的心动了。”暗下决心,一定要到新疆去。
成名之后
1949年5月参加中国人民解放军,在西北军区做美术工作。
黄胄早年师从赵望云、韩乐然学画。对黄胄的艺术生命影响至深的是1948年随赵望云到西北写生。新疆的民族风情、黄泛区的人民苦难,拨动了黄胄的艺术之弦。1949年,黄胄又入伍到西北军区从事战士读物美术工作。广泛的接触和深入的认识,是黄胄新疆题材的来源。
1950年创作《爹去打老蒋》参加全国美术作品展览,受到美术界的重视。木刻画《人畜两旺》获文化部奖。
同年秋至1954年兼任西北师范学院美术系创作课讲师。
1951年(辛卯,二十六岁)继续在《战士读物》社工作。徐悲鸿在《新建设》杂志发表《新中国一年来美术上之成就》,文中提到西北的石鲁和黄胄,称赞“二人皆在盛年,前途未可限量。”
1952年《苹果花开的时候》参加展出并获奖。
1953年《打马球》获全国青年画展一等奖。
1954年与郑闻慧女士结婚。
1955年春调到北京总政治部文化部创作室任创作员。
1956年(丙申,三十一岁)麦收前夕,奉命采访战斗英雄李来财,路经去过的河南黄泛区。今昔巨变,使他感触极深。随后作《歇晌》,又名《在战火燃烧过的地方》。表现农家妇女割麦歇晌时平静幸福的劳动生活。此图画出了女人曲线美。“文革”时,被扣上“黄色”画的帽子而没收,至今下落不明。同年,作《金色的道路》,表现藏族同胞在青藏公路边,支起帐篷为筑路的解放军献上一碗碗酥油茶。此作由人民美术出版社出版成年画,深受西北地区人们的喜爱。秋,以记者身份参加中央和解放军组成的赴新疆慰问团,以慰问团团长许广平帮厨为题材,作《春节劳军图》。后继续在北疆、南疆等地区采访写生半年。
1957年《洪荒风雪》获第六届世界青年与学生和平友谊联欢节金质奖章。
1958年《赶集》获第七届世界青年联欢节铜质奖。
1959年调到军事博物馆任美术创作员。
1960年(庚子,三十五岁)7月,受命到四川金沙江畔基层部队下连队当兵锻炼一年。战士们都称他“黄老兵”。常去营外藏族牧区,了解牧民生活。
同年,作《我爱北京天安门》,并为《绿色远方》少儿读物作插图。
1961年(辛丑,三十六岁 )为堂兄梁斌小说《红旗谱》收集插图形象。先后为人民文艺出版社和中国青年出版社各画出一套插图。7月底,受命以随军记者的身份,与同道赴福建边防战斗前线,深入边境海岛采访写生四十余天,画了大量表现海防前线军民联防战斗生活的画作。返京后,与同道举办联展。他作的《女民兵》、《炊事员》等得到好评。
1962年(壬寅,三十七岁)
再次作《祖国的眼睛》,后更名为《巡逻图》。《巡逻图》再次被国防部作为国礼送给胡志明主席。
秋,受命赴中印边境自卫反击战前线,做随军采访。出行前在离火车开车前三个多小时的间隙,不打草稿,泼墨挥毫,一气呵成,画了一幅丈二匹大画,取名《奔腾急》,又名《藏童上学》,送给了人民美术出版社社长邵宇。在后来黄胄创建炎黄艺术馆时,邵宇又捐赠给了炎黄艺术馆。
1963年(癸卯,三十八岁)
人民美术出版社出版《黄胄作品选集》。这是他的第一本画册,邓拓在《人民画报》第九期撰文《黄胄作品中的“三新”》,提出黄胄作品有“人物新、意境新、手法新”的特点。
同年,在保定举办速写展,适逢水灾,作品尽失。
同年,第四次去新疆访问写生。
1964年(甲辰,三十九岁)
去井冈山、韶山等革命老区采访。
以革命历史题材作《井冈山第一面红旗》、《谈心》、《亲人》等。
到革命老区采访写生后,始画竹子。
同年,母亲病逝。
同年,再次作《洪荒风雪》。
1965年(乙巳,四十岁)
到湖南醴陵县参加“四清”社教运动。
1966年至1972年因“文革”被迫搁笔。
文革时期
1975年任轻工业部工艺美术公司顾问。
1976年11月至1977年2月为周总理纪念馆创作《鞠躬尽瘁为人民》。
1978年夏,带病为国家领导人访问南斯拉夫创作国礼《松鹰图》。为邓小平同志访问日本创作《百驴图》,作为国礼赠送裕仁天皇。
1979年8月带病赴新疆作第五次访问、写生。
1980年参加主持中国画研究院筹备工作,任中国画研究院常务副院长。先后为钓鱼台、中南海、人民大会堂等处作画二百余幅。
1987年10月立项建炎黄艺术馆,并担任筹备处主任。
1988年12月为炎黄艺术馆募集资金,建立了黄胄美术基金会,并担任一届会长。
1991年9月28日,炎黄艺术馆正式成立,任炎黄艺术馆馆长。先后任全国政协委员、常委,书画室主任,中国美术家协会常务理事。
1997年4月23日逝世。
艺术实践
黄胄为推动当代美术的发展、开展国际文化艺术交流,为促进祖国的统一大业作出了卓越贡献。他深入边疆,勤奋作画,从50年代的《苹果花开的时候》、《洪荒风雪》、《赶集》,到七八十年代的《百驴图》、《风雪夜归人》、《送粮人》,黄胄在丰厚的生活根基上,形成鲜明的个人绘画风格,是国内最早突破蒋徐体系的人物画家。他在不同时期的优秀作品曾经多次在国际、国内获奖。70年代后期,他曾为纪念周恩来绘制了《鞠躬尽瘁为人民》的传世之作。梁黄胄的艺术实践为当代美术发展产生了积极和深广的影响。
文化贡献
梁黄胄不仅是一位人民艺术家,同时还是社会运动家。80年代初,他与著名画家李可染蔡若虹华君武等共同创建了中国画研究院;而炎黄艺术馆的创办则是梁黄胄更为杰出的代表作。1986年黄胄在新加坡办个人画展时引起了轰动,有人提议建立黄胄艺术馆,他说,我个人不足以建馆,要建就建属于炎黄子孙乃至人类的炎黄艺术馆。经过4年的筹措兴建,1991年,中国第一座大型民办公助的现代化艺术馆——炎黄艺术馆终于建成了。梁黄胄任艺术馆馆馆长,并捐献出自己收藏的古代书画文物200余件和代表代、速写作品1000余件。炎黄艺术馆在保护、弘扬民族艺术,推动艺术教育公益事业发展以及加强国际文化交流等方面做了很多工作,梁黄胄的艺术道路、治学精神以及对推动民族文化发展的执着追求,在国内外影响深远。
1997年4月23日,著名艺术家黄胄逝世。

黄胄80年前的作品主要使用研磨作画,其特点:笔走龙蛇 简练传神 。如双驴图,用笔如神,寥寥几笔,形神尽显。
黄胄《送粮图》 拍出24万元
2012年12月18日, 经过三天拍卖,嘉德四季第32期拍卖会今天在京收槌。本次拍卖总成交1.21亿元人民币,其中黄胄1973年作品《送粮图》以24万元成交价位列近现代书画首位。
2013年12月2日晚7点45分,北京保利2013秋拍近现代书画夜场“黄胄美术基金会推荐专场”首件作品黄胄《欢腾的草原》以130万人民币起拍,第一位应价者即叫出30万元,第二位即给出50万元,在第三位竞标者给出60万后,竞价开始以标准竞价阶梯上行。经过约8分钟时间的35轮竞价,作品最终以112万元的价格落槌,加佣金价格高达128万元。

黄胄》:画者,本于天地之灵气,结于人心之妙想。画家立于天地之间,万象在旁。神思融趣,忽然划然,振笔直遂,以追其所见所闻所感;绝叫一声,纵横万状,以成精品。吾国绘画渊源有自,自晋顾恺之,千数百年来,流派林立,代不乏贤;洎乎南北,哲匠间出,风格迥异,自成风范;浩浩长江,巍巍昆仑,不足以道其高远。后人欲知其详窥其妙,亦难矣。
予生不能为画,而纵观古今名家之作,与其一时不得不然之变,始知法后能知无法。前辈有言,此道中尽可寄兴,其然欤?展读历代名迹,更觉其法如镜花水月,宛然有之,不可把捉;而其无法,如长天清水,茫宕无际。
吾社襄今古,选历代名家之尤者,道其生平事迹、画论理念、技法特色、前传后承,使览者窥一斑而见全豹,知一画师而晓一代之画,读数十名画家之集,而知吾国数千年绘画文明之概况。
