 1941年5月生于山西万荣县。

 

1964年毕业于西安美术学院附中。

 

1969年毕业于西安美术学院国画系人物画专业。曾任陕西省群众艺术馆美术创作员员。现为中国美协会员,陕西省美协常务理事。国家一级美术师,享受国务院特殊津贴的专家。陕西国画院创作研究室主任。

 

1979年作品《悄悄话》获第五届全国美展二等奖。

 

1984年作品《捏扁食》获第六届全国美展铜牌奖,作品《翠翠莉莉和姣姣》获第六届全国美展优秀作品奖。

 

1989年作品《倦旅图》获第七届全国美展铜牌奖。

 

1994年《母亲我心中的佛》获第八届全国美展优秀作品奖。

 

1999年《读》获第九届全国美展铜牌奖。六件作品被中国美术馆收藏。

 

陕西人民美术出版社出版了《王有政画集》、《中国名家作品精选——王有政》。

 

历时四年,我省著名书画名家王有政杨光利合作的作品《纺线线——延安大生产运动》,于2009年8月6日正式通过国家重大历史题材美术创作工程艺委会终审。这为陕西艺术界赢得了荣誉,也为新中国六十华诞献上了一份厚礼。

 初秋的北京,骄阳仍然似火,记者访问了来自黄土高原的著名国画家王有政先生。没想到这位国家一级美术大师会这样随和,谈笑间常常流露出农民般质朴的笑容。他侃侃而谈,沉稳的言语里充满自信,慈善的目光中透射出睿智。在绘画道路上勤苦求索多半生。

 

黄河奔流,在黄土高原上冲出了一个晋陕峡谷,峡谷东边是山西、西边是陕西。1941年,王有政出生在晋南黄河边上万荣县西景村的一个农民家庭里,其祖上世代以耕读传家,爷爷王镛是清末举人,母亲薛舜琴曾在女子学校任教。王有政自幼受到良好而严格的家庭教育,他的书画基因,即是受之于喜爱书法的爷爷、父亲和爱窗花、刺绣的奶奶、母亲。万荣县民族文化传统深厚,女娲用黄土造人的传说就发生在这里。全国著名的后土祠,就是祭祀女娲娘娘的名胜古迹。但与其说是伟大慈爱的女娲娘娘在他幼小的心灵中播种下酷爱黄土的种子,不如说是留在黄土地上的美好记忆让他无法从这里走开。

 

在故乡的黄土地上,幼年的王有政跟随乡亲们烧香敬神、看戏学戏、买年画、贴春联、闹社火、走亲戚、参办红白喜事……这些都在他幼小的心灵上留下了感念不尽的记忆,也成为这个黄土汉子在后来的绘画创作中取之不尽的宝藏。诚如王有政在他的《我的乡间小路》中所说:“我偏爱农村,这与我生在农村、长在农村、热爱农村、熟悉农村是分不开的。我确信童年时代在心中播下的爱与美的种子,对艺术家的一生都起着深刻的影响。”

 

虽有黄河相隔,古都西安却是晋南学子们理想的求学之地。少年王有政也在家庭的支持下来到了这里,顺利地考进了西安美术学院附属中学,经过几年的刻苦学习,又考上了西安美术学院国画系人物画专业。

 

1970年,他从西安美术学院毕业,因出色的毕业创作被分配到陕西省群众艺术馆从事群众美术创作的辅导工作。在深入基层辅导农民画的同时,他凭着吃苦耐劳的顽强性格创下了156天跑遍了陕北绥德县23个乡镇的纪录,画遍了各地所谓的“好形象”。作品《我们是大地的主人》中荡荡满满200余人无一没有具体的写生素材,美术评论家王宁宇在谈及这件作品时说:“用学院派的死功夫硬抠农村题材的人物形象,叫人睹之不禁怦然心动”。这件作品虽然使他在美术界有了一定的影响力,但画面一个个纪念碑风格的人物形象,仍是“文革”结束前的喜庆化和英雄化农民表现风格的延续,进一步找到并走出适合自己个性发展的创作道路,成为他最紧迫的课题。

 

1978年5月至9月,他与美术评论家刘骁纯同道去陕北绥德、佳县等地深入生活,为确立其创作道路奠定了一定的基础。从此他开始采取一种“身居其中,由内向外的视角,以提升了的农民自身的眼光看待农民,就像看待同样是农民的自己的父母兄弟一样”(刘骁纯《自自然然》)。他开始在一个地区长期住下来,和老乡们同吃、同住,从而捕捉到他们毫无修饰、自然而然的生活状态中流露出的美。几十年来,已经无法统计他在陕北的乡间小道上走过了多少步伐,度过了多少时光。在黄土峁上的梯田间,土的、砖的、石的窑洞里,老乡热乎乎的炕头上,书声琅琅的小学校中……无论是千里冰封的大年夜,还是山花烂漫的阳春天,他都坚持在这古老的黄土塬上不知疲倦地搜寻美、发现美、感受美。他的这种搜索和捕捉平凡生活的方法,已为评论家首肯为一种属于他自己的转化生活美为艺术美的创造方式。1970年,他从西安美术学院毕业,因出色的毕业创作被分配到陕西省群众艺术馆从事群众美术创作的辅导工作。在深入基层辅导农民画的同时,他凭着吃苦耐劳的顽强性格创下了156天跑遍了陕北绥德县23个乡镇的纪录,画遍了各地所谓的“好形象”。作品《我们是大地的主人》中荡荡满满200余人无一没有具体的写生素材,美术评论家王宁宇在谈及这件作品时说:“用学院派的死功夫硬抠农村题材的人物形象,叫人睹之不禁怦然心动”。这件作品虽然使他在美术界有了一定的影响力,但画面一个个纪念碑风格的人物形象,仍是“文革”结束前的喜庆化和英雄化农民表现风格的延续,进一步找到并走出适合自己个性发展的创作道路,成为他最紧迫的课题。

 

至今,他仍叫得出自己作品中大多数人物原型的姓名,知道他们都住在哪里,隔一阵儿就想去串串。作品《读》中的小女孩艳艳今年考上了西安医学院,王有政还为她赞助了学费。如同他在创作《我的父老乡亲》的题跋中写到的一样:“我来自黄河岸边一农家,日后成为画家。但我无论走到多么遥远的地方,见到了多么文明的现代,我都牢记我是一个农民的儿子。永远活跃在我心灵深处的,仍然是用辛勤的汗水哺育了我的父老乡亲。”人们欣赏王有政的绘画,是因为在他的作品中人们能直接地感受到一种最普通温馨的生活气息和真挚的人间情态,而这也正是王有政绘画创作的出发点。正如他自己所说:“我热爱生活,我喜欢生活中那些美好的东西,我希望通过我的画面与人们对话,将我对生活美好的体验与人们共享。”

 

在《悄悄话》之后,《冬晨》、《丑女》、《翠翠莉莉和姣姣》、《山花》、《捏扁食》等作品的问世标志着王有政个人艺术生命的独立。作品中一个个淳朴的形象是那么普通、自然、不带半点夸饰,就像在农家中看到的一样,这就是王有政作品的风格——质朴自然。但他的“自然”并不是简单地再现生活,而是全力以赴创造出的独具个性的“第二自然”。他说:“其实在极端写实的、平淡如现象的形式背后,我把自己悄悄地藏起来。在貌似生活现象的形式背后,有我对艺术的偏爱、理想,对原始生活形态极其苛刻的筛选、加工编织等。”上世纪90年代之后,王有政一方面坚持自己具有强烈主体性的“自然主义”风格,一方面随着对于黄土文化理解的日渐深入,开始关注黄土地上“黄土人”普遍的精神和共同的文化背景,他认为这些看似虚空的东西,实则是改变和塑造人物的无形之手。基于这一创作理念,他又推出了一批具有纪念碑意义的大型作品,如《黄土老人》、《母亲我心中的佛》、《我的父老乡亲》、《乳汁的河》等等,在这一批作品中,王有政通过其笔下特有的活生生的人物将黄土文化的凝重和深邃传达给了观众,可视为他在自我方位上的进一步升华。如1991年的《黄土老人》,远看是一张非常具体的陕北老人的脸,近看老人脸上的一道道岁月的留痕,则如黄土高原般沟壑纵横、坎坎坷坷。又如1994年在第八届全国美展中的获奖作品《母亲我心中的佛》中,盘坐于锅台灶前的母亲既是一位终日围着锅碗瓢盆操持家业的具体的母亲,又是黄土高原上千千万万饱经沧桑的母亲的化身,是一尊崇高的母亲佛!他还将言之未尽的内容补充在题跋之中:“年轻时我那么匆忙离开了你,千里万里去追求那天边的圣迹,半生的旅程教我觉悟,金色的佛光、无私的净土原来出自你。啊,母亲,哪怕是伟人、领袖、骁勇的元帅将军,无论是哲人智者,普通的劳工、商旅,恐怕都跟我有同样的体验。世世代代,这样的母亲把我们民族的全部历史默然谱写。”没有思想锋芒的艺术作品永远是苍白的空壳。正是对永恒的黄土文化精神的执著追求,王有政的作品才令人百看不厌,并能发人深省,使人常看常新。

 

几十年以黄土人情为题作画,王有政已经成功地走出了一条属于他自己的乡间小路。在全国美展的第五届﹙1979年﹚、第六届﹙1984年﹚、第七届﹙1989年﹚、第八届﹙1994年﹚、第九届﹙1998年﹚上,他都以自己扎实的功力获得各种奖项,并有6件作品被中国美术馆永久收藏。即使这样,他对自己的绘画创作仍不满足,还是一如既往地耕耘着,如同他画中的老乡般不知倦怠。 获奖经历

 Born in May 1941 in Wanrong County, Shanxi Province.

Graduated from the attached middle school of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1964.

He graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. He was a member of art creator of Shaanxi Mass Art Museum. Now he is a member of China Association of American Arts and the executive director of Shaanxi Association of American Arts. Artists at the first level of the State shall be experts who enjoy special allowances from the State Council. Director of Creation Research Department of Shaanxi Traditional Chinese Painting Academy.

In 1979, his work "Silent Talk" won the second prize of the Fifth National Art Exhibition.

In 1984, the work "Pinching Flat Food" won the bronze medal of the 6th National Art Exhibition, and the work "Cui Cui Li and Jiao She" won the excellent works award of the 6th National Art Exhibition.

In 1989, the work Tired Travel Picture won the bronze medal of the 7th National Art Exhibition.

In 1994, the Buddha in Mother's Heart won the award of Excellent Works in the Eighth National Art Exhibition.

In 1999, Reading won the bronze medal of the 9th National Art Exhibition. Six works have been collected by the Chinese Art Museum.

Shaanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House published "Wang Youzheng Painting Collection" and "Selected Works of Chinese Famous Artists - Wang Youzheng".

Four years later, the famous calligrapher and painter Wang Youzheng and Yang Guangli's work "Spinning Line - Yan'an Great Production Campaign" was formally passed the final examination of the National Art Creation Engineering Arts Committee on major historical subjects on August 6, 2009. This has won the honor for Shaanxi art circle, and has also offered a generous gift for the 60th birthday of New China.

In early autumn in Beijing, the sun was still hot. The reporter interviewed Mr. Wang Youzheng, a famous Chinese painter from the Loess Plateau. Unexpectedly, this national first-class art master would be so easy-going, often showing a peasant-like simple smile between talking and laughing. He talked with a great deal of confidence in his calm words and wisdom in his charitable eyes. He spent most of his life on the road of painting.

The Yellow River rushes out of a Shanxi-Shaanxi Valley on the Loess Plateau, with Shanxi to the East and Shaanxi to the west. In 1941, Wang Youzheng was born in a peasant family in Xijing Village, Wanrong County, on the Yellow River in southern Shanxi Province. His ancestors passed on from generation to generation by farming and studying. His grandfather Wang Yong was a member of the Qing Dynasty, and his mother Xue Shunqin taught in a women's school. Wang Youzheng received a good and strict family education from his childhood. His painting and calligraphy genes were attributed to his grandfather, father and grandmother who loved calligraphy, window flowers and embroidery. Wanrong County has a profound national cultural tradition. The legend of Nuwa's making man from loess takes place here. The famous Houtu Temple in China is a historic site dedicated to Nvwa Niang Niang. But rather than the seeds of loess planted by the great and loving Nuwa Niang in her young heart, it is the beautiful memories left on the loess that make him unable to walk away from here.

On the loess land of his hometown, young Wang Youzheng followed his fellow villagers in burning incense and worshipping God, watching operas and drama, buying New Year pictures, pasting couplets, making communal fires, visiting relatives and participating in red-and-white wedding events. All these have left an endless memory in his young mind, and become an inexhaustible treasure of this loess man in his later painting creation. As Wang Youzheng said in his "My Country Road", I prefer the countryside, which is inseparable from my life in the countryside, growing up in the countryside, loving the countryside, and familiarizing with the countryside. I am sure that the seeds of love and beauty sown in my childhood have a profound impact on the artist's life.

Although separated by the Yellow River, the ancient capital of Xi'an is an ideal place for students in southern Shanxi. Young Wang Youzheng also came here with the support of his family and successfully entered the secondary school affiliated to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. After several years of hard study, he also entered the figure painting major of the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.

In 1970, he graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and was assigned to the Shaanxi Mass Art Museum for the guidance of Mass Art Creation. At the same time, with his tenacious character of hardship and endurance, he set a record of 156 days running through 23 townships in Suide County, northern Shaanxi Province, and painted so-called "good images" everywhere. The work "We are the Masters of the Earth" is full of more than 200 people without any specific sketch material. Wang Ningyu, an art critic, said about this work: "It is heartbreaking to use the academician's hard work to pick out the image of rural subjects." Although this work has made him a certain influence in the art circle, the image of monument-style characters is still the continuation of the festival and heroic peasant expression style before the end of the "Cultural Revolution". It has become his most urgent task to further find and walk out the creative path suitable for his personality development.

In the terraced fields on the Loess hill, in the caves of earth, brick and stone, on the hot kangs of the villagers, in the elementary schools with loud books... Whether it is the ice-bound New Year's Eve or the bright spring, he insists on tirelessly searching for beauty, discovering beauty and feeling beauty on this ancient loess plateau. Up to now, he can still name most of the prototypes in his works, know where they live, and then he wants to hang out every once in a while. As he wrote in the postscript of My Father and My Country, "I come from a farmhouse on the Bank of the Yellow River and will become a painter in the future. But no matter how far away I go and how civilized and modern I see, I always remember that I am the son of a peasant. Always active in the depths of my heart, is still with hard sweat nurtured my father and my fellow countrymen. People appreciate Wang Youzheng's paintings because in his works people can directly feel the most ordinary and warm breath of life and sincere human mood, which is also the starting point of Wang Youzheng's paintings. As he said, "I love life, I like the beautiful things in life, I hope that through my pictures and dialogue with people, I will share my wonderful experience of life with people."

After Silent Talk, the publication of Winter Morning, Ugly Girl, Cui Cui Lili and Huo'ao, Shanhua and Pinching Bian Ji marked Wang Youzheng's independence in his artistic life. The simple images in the works are so ordinary, natural and without any exaggeration, just like those seen in the farm, which is the style of Wang Youzheng's works - simple and natural. But his "nature" is not simply a reappearance of life, but a unique "second nature" created with all his efforts. He said: "In fact, behind the extreme realistic, plain phenomenal form, I quietly hide myself. Behind the seemingly life phenomena, there are my preference for art, ideals, extremely harsh screening, processing and weaving of primitive life forms. After the 1990s, Wang Youzheng, on the one hand, insisted on his "naturalism" style with strong subjectivity. On the other hand, with the deepening understanding of Loess culture, he began to pay attention to the general spirit and common cultural background of "loess people" on the loess. He believed that these seemingly empty things were actually changes. And the invisible hand of shaping characters. Based on this creative concept, he also launched a number of monumental works, such as "The Old Man in the Loess", "Buddha in Mother and My Heart", "My Father and Old Man", "River in Milk" and so on. In this series of works, Wang Youzheng, through his unique living characters, made the Loess culture solemn and harmonious. Deep communication to the audience can be seen as his further sublimation in self-orientation. For example, in 1991 "The Old Man in the Loess Plateau", the face of the old man in northern Shaanxi is very specific from a distance, and the traces of the years on the old man's face are like the gullies in the Loess Plateau. In 1994, in the award-winning work "Buddha in Mother's Heart" of the Eighth National Art Exhibition, the mother sitting in front of the pot and stove is not only a specific mother who keeps house around the pot and bowl, but also the incarnation of tens of millions of experienced mothers on the Loess Plateau. She is a noble mother Buddha! He also added the endless words to the postscript: "When I was young, I left you in such a hurry to pursue the sacred sites of that day for thousands of miles. The half-life journey taught me to realize that the golden Buddha light and selfless pure land originally came from you. Ah, mother, even great men, leaders, brave marshals and generals, whether philosophers or wise men, ordinary workers or business travelers, I'm afraid they have the same experience as me. From generation to generation, such mothers have silently compiled the whole history of our nation." A work of art without thought is always a blank shell. It is the persistent pursuit of the eternal loess cultural spirit that makes Wang Youzheng's works tireless, thought-provoking and fresh.

For decades, Wang Youzheng has succeeded in walking out of his own country road with the theme of loess human feelings. At the fifth (1979), sixth (1984), seventh (1989), eighth (1994) and ninth (1998) National Art Exhibition, he won various awards with his solid strength, and 6 works were permanently collected by the Chinese Art Museum. Even so, he is still not satisfied with his painting creation, and he is still working hard as ever, as tireless as the fellow countrymen in his paintings. Award-winning experience

He is good at Chinese painting and strives to grasp the natural purity of local human feelings in contemporary China. The plain and simple atmosphere in his works is different from the peasant's ballad-like simplicity and the reclusive literati's idyllic indifference.
