徐卫，男，1957年出生，江苏如皋人。现为南通大学艺术学院教授，副院长，硕士生导师。中国美术家协会会员。中国工艺美术学会会员，江苏省美术家协会会员、美学学会理事。
1982年毕业于南京艺术学院。
1991年结业于南京艺术学院美术系国画研究生班。
作品于国内多次参展；《艺苑》、《美术界》、《中国画家》、《美术教育研究》等刊物先后刊载、介绍；先后于省、市举办联展和个展；获“国际荣誉金奖”等多项奖；作品被美术馆等专业机构和个人收藏；出版《徐卫中国画选集》、《中国画意象形态研究》等专著；个人业绩被《当代青年国画一千家》、《中国当代名人录》等辞典收藏。
