钱金泉，江苏常州人（现居苏州市）大专文化，师从中国美术学院教授蒋风白院士。后又为红学专家，中国艺术研究院院长，书画评论家，当代著名书画家冯其庸先生的入室弟子及中国艺术大师戈壁先生的入室弟子，现为中国美术家协会会员、高级美术师。
钱金泉现为中国书画艺术委员会委员，中国老年书画研究会会员，中国书画艺术促进会会员，世界华人文学艺术界联合会会员，江苏省花鸟协会会员，苏州市美术家协会会员，苏州市华夏书画院院长。
擅长花鸟，主功兰竹。一九九四年十二月钱金泉与书法家薛峰先生在日本名古屋举办个人画展。画展受到日本各界人士极力推崇。
