1963年生，河南开封市人。自幼酷爱绘画艺术，拜师于詹庚西、胡勃、薛永年等名家。主攻花鸟画，融会中外，博采古今，工写兼能。以其特有的灵气、超现实的想象、经年的积蓄、不断地创新，形成了自己鲜明的艺术个性。
作品多次参加中国美术家协会组织的全国大型中国画展览及其它大展并获奖。代表作品有：《盛夏馥香》获新世纪全国书画精品大展银奖；《醒》获‘亚亨杯‘全国书画精品大展铜奖；《香满蒲塘》获‘鑫光杯‘迎澳门回归中国画精品展铜奖；《荷》获庆祝建国50周年暨澳门回归全国民间工艺美术书法大展铜奖。作品曾被人民大会堂、中南海、教育部及中外诸多画廊收藏。（以下为王伟的部分作品）
