江可群，男，汉族，1949年生于上海，江苏常州人。
现为中国美术协会会员、江苏省青年美术家协会主席、江苏省国画院特聘画师、常州市美术家协会主席、国家一级美术师，常州市画院高级画师、常州市文联副主席。
幼承家学，喜习书画。创作注重写生，刻意求新。擅山水，所作构图奇崛，笔墨豪放，讲求气势和意境。
其作品多次入选文化部、中国美术家协会主办的全国美展，并获国家级奖。并有作品被中国美术馆、中南海紫光阁等处收藏。作品被送到美国、日本、新加坡、澳大利亚及港、台地区展出。其传略被编入多种美术家辞书。作品《多情的土地》、《头上高山》入选′97中国画坛百杰展。江可群的山水画作品笔墨浑厚，大气磅礴。曾入选第八届、第九届全国美展及多次全国大展和获奖；作品被中国美术馆、毛主席纪念堂等收藏。传略辑入《中国现代美术家人名辞典》、《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等。
