张葆冬
1958年生于兰州。
1982年毕业于西北师范大学美术系，1985-1986年在浙江术学院中国画系进修，2009-2010年中国国家画院进修。
曾任兰州市美协副主席，兰州市第十二届人大代表，民进甘肃省委常委。
2001年调厦门工作。集美大学美术学院教授，厦门市第五批、第七批拨尖人才，福建省美术家协会常务理事（中国人物画艺委会秘书长），中国美术家协会会员。
作品参加第七届、第八届、第十届全国美展等国家级展事十余次，曾获中国美协（展区）银奖、福建省政府“百花文艺奖”等奖项。有作品被中国美术馆等国家收藏机构收藏。
作品及论文在《美术》、《国画家》、《文艺研究?》、《光明日报》等报刊发表.出版有《张葆冬速写插图集》、《中国画名家精品粹编·张葆冬意笔人物》、《中国当代名家书画大系·张葆冬精品选》、《当代中国杰出人物画20家·张葆冬》等画册。
先后在中国北京、兰州、潍坊、昆明、厦门，荷兰祖特梅尔、意大利拉斯佩奇亚等地举办个展和联展多次。
