潘中亮先生(1928.10—2001.8)别名柳屯，山东齐河人。擅长版画。1948年起在解放军从事部队美术创作，曾任解放军贵州军区文化处副处长。贵州省国画院副院长。作品有《大破天险窗子洞》、《石林》、《安错湖湖滨》。

1949年9—10月，我人民解放军二野五兵团风驰电掣进军大西南，于10月15日解放了贵州。年底，贵州各县先后建立起人民政权。

上世纪50年代初，贵州驻军对潜伏各地兴风作浪的土匪，进行了“铁壁合围”、“梳篦战术”，一举剿灭了12股残匪。后来，贵州军区出版了散文特写集《剿匪一年》，真实地反映了贵州部队与各族人民团结一致、英勇艰苦的剿匪事迹。其中一幅令人难忘的木刻《大破天险窗子洞》，久久地留存于人们的心中。

这幅木刻是二野五兵团文工团画家潘中亮的代表作之一，现珍藏于中国军事博物馆、中国革命博物馆。他用洗炼的刀法，刻画了人民战士英勇无畏的高尚品质和不怕牺牲的革命情操:剿匪战士用绳索吊着身子，从悬岩上凌空而下，扑向深藏于半山岩一处洞穴中的顽匪，怀抱机枪猛烈开火。山下的战士高搭云梯攀缘而上，或掷手榴弹，或持枪射击。有的战士从悬岩垂到山洞旁，用话筒作政治攻势，让匪徒缴枪投降。一时间，弹光烈火，硝烟弥漫，仿佛杀声震天，山摇地动。战士们奋不顾身的英武之姿展现在画面上。

据考证:当年作战的实际情景，系现在郎岱边缘一处叫月亮洞的山崖。那里山高林密，易守难攻。残匪据此险要，存粮蓄水，顽抗月余之久。

1954年，五兵团文工团团长、部队作家汪德荣与战友史超，共同创作了电影剧本《云雾山中》，将贵州剿匪中的英雄事迹，经过加工提炼，写成电影作品，展现于银幕上。其中，就有大破天险窗子洞的英勇场面。尔后汪德荣将所得稿费，全部捐赠给贵州各族人民，传为佳话。

潘中亮同志系山东齐河县人。1948年10月参加人民解放军，从事部队文艺工作。随军渡江作战后参加淮海战役，以后进军大西南。一路上行军作战，作宣传鼓动工作，还给报刊撰文绘画，极为辛苦。解放贵州后，一直在军区从事文艺和宣传工作，以绘画为专业，为部队服务为兵服务。几十年来勤勤恳恳，深入连队深入生活。近半个世纪，他创作的作品多达600多幅。许多幅版画参加全军画展和全国画展，有的还被选送到国外展出。

1980年，潘中亮转业到地方负责筹组“贵州国画院”，担任副院长兼秘书长。他为人厚道，善于团结各方面的画家，做了许多工作，因此贵州的国画也很有起色。改革开放后，画作进入市场。按他的功底和在社会上的声誉，尤其是他对贵州山水之研究，以及对贵州少数民族生活之熟悉，他的画作也可进入市场卖个好价。然而他无意于此，却将200多幅倾心之作，捐赠给他的家乡山东，以显赤子真情。他依然过着穿一身旧军衣踏一双旧胶鞋的俭朴生活。这不能不使战友们由衷地钦佩。

离休后，他仍然关心贵州的国画工作，关心文艺界的情况，许多反映部队生活和战友们回忆战斗生涯书籍的封面设计，都出自中亮之手。

2001年8月，他因积劳成疾而逝世，战友们在天南地北闻讯后十分悲痛。如今追忆起这位很有才气、胸怀坦荡、一生辛勤于版画创作而大有成就的战友，怎不让人唏嘘和惋惜万分哩!
