谢海洋，1956年出生，安徽宿州人。1982年毕业于中国美术学院（原浙江美术学院）版画系，获学士学位。
版画作品获第十六届全国版画作品展览铜奖，入选第六届、第七届、第十一届全国美术作品展览、第二届全国壁画大展，入展中国美术家协会在法国巴黎主办的中、法文化年系列美术作品展览《中国版画·漆画优秀作品展》，入展第八回中国现代版画展览(日本)、中国版画精品邀请展(宁夏)、中国新兴版画六十年纪念展(北京)。连环画作品获“第二届全国优秀少儿读物展”一等奖，多次获“冰心奖”。多幅版画及插图作品获安徽省美展一、二、三等奖，多幅版画作品被人民大会堂、神州版画博物馆、深圳画院、哈尔滨艺术宫版画博物馆、日本千叶美术馆以及国内外友人收藏。
现为中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员、安徽美术家协会版画艺委会委员、中共安徽省委讲师团组教处处长。
