武怀扬，1951年生，安徽省颖上县人。新疆美术家协会会员，新疆生产建设兵团美术家协会常务理事。本科文化程度。1972年在关维晓老师、姚迪雄老师的指导下进行版画创作。曾学过油画、版画，作品在伊犁哈萨克自治州美术展多次参展，并在南疆喀什巡回展。版画作品在乌鲁木齐新疆美协、新疆总工会、新疆兵团举办的展览中多次人选展出。其中美术作品《智慧的结晶》1994年参加新疆美协、新疆总工会举办的“新疆第四届职工美术作品展览”获三等奖；1995年庆祝新疆维吾尔自治区成立四十周年美术作品展，《智慧的结晶》被入选展出，并被选入1995年第6期哈文版《新疆画报》“新疆美术作品选”中刊登。1991年编辑出版《伊犁垦区画册》，1997年套色版画作品《三北晨曲》参加新疆兵团举办美术作品展，被评为三等奖。1997年9月3幅作品参加“艰难与辉煌”展览，并在上海美术馆展出。近几年创作的作品有：《艰难岁月》、《在那遥远的地方》、《智慧的结晶》、《三北晨曲》等套色版画。现新疆兵团农四师文联副主席兼秘书长、新疆兵团美术家协会常务理事、新疆兵团摄影家协会理事。
