乌日切夫，男，蒙古族，1969年4月生，博士，中国美术家协会会员，内蒙古政协委员，内蒙古青联副主席，农工民主党内蒙古自治区委员会委员。现任内蒙古师范大学雕塑艺术研究院副院长，教授，硕士生导师。中国艺术研究院版画院研究员，中央美院丝绸之路艺术研究中心副秘书长，中国美协美术教育委员会委员，中国美协中青年美术家海外研修工程评审委员，蒙古国国家美术馆顾问。2016年12月当选为内蒙古美术家协会第九届主席团副主席。
在中国美术馆、内蒙古美术馆及德国、法国、罗马尼亚、马来西亚、日本、奥地利、蒙古国、英国、香港、意大利等国家、地区的美术馆举办了个人画展。担任文化部、教育部两项国家课题和国家出版基金项目《中国佛教版画全集》编辑，主持雍和宫课题研究。
曾获“内蒙古青年文化名人奖”、“全国各族青年团结进步奖——十大杰出贡献奖”、和“中国青年五·四奖章”以及内蒙古自治区“五·一劳动奖章”，中央美术学院优秀博士论文奖。
作品曾在全国版画展及中国少数民族美展上多次荣获金、银、铜奖。1994年5月，在内蒙古师范大学美术系陈列馆举办了乌日切夫个人画展，其中一幅名为《我的梦》的版画在首届全国民族绘画百花奖评选中荣获金奖。2003年，版画作品《苍狼白鹿1》荣获第二届中国美术展最高奖“金彩奖”。作品《化石系列》入选第八届全国美展，《兴安岭的十月》入选第十二届全国版展，《达来湖的传说C》入选第十三届全国版画展。
