1952年毕业于石家庄师范学校，任小学美术教员。

1954年调石家庄市美术家协会，同年举办个人画展。

1955年入中央美术学院学习。

1960年毕业于中央美术学院，毕业后到北京美术创作室工作。

1965年调入北京画院。

1978年始曾8次赴“丝绸之路”写生，行程10万公里，历时3年，成为我国第一个环行大沙漠的女画家。  曾赴日本举办丝路画展，并沿遣唐使之路考察。

1986年携作品参加巴格达国际造型艺术节，并创作反映西段阿拉伯国家风情的作品8幅，在中国美术馆展出。

1989年自己驾驶汽车从北京出发，越过帕米尔高原，远达土耳其、伊斯坦布尔，完成了国外丝路考察 。

1991年再次驾驶汽车考察了江河源头、云贵川青藏高原、海上丝路港口、京杭大运河及长城。

 Geng Yukun (1935 -) female, from Ningjin, Hebei Province. He is good at printmaking and Chinese painting. More than 1,000 paintings and more than 2,000 sketches were made. Among them, New Collections of Ancient Ways, Snow Lotus of Tianshan Mountain, Barang Aksi, Huozhou Guashu and Journey to the West and East were published in newspapers and magazines one after another. The works are collected by the Chinese Art Museum and History Museum. In the early stage of creation, prints were mostly used, and then traditional Chinese paintings were mainly used. The works are simple and rough, rich in color and rich in local flavor. Now he is a member of China Artists Association and a professional painter of Beijing Academy of Painting.

There are monographs "Collection of Gaochang Murals Lost", children's books "Collection of Rice Spikes" and "Nurguli".

He graduated from Shijiazhuang Normal School in 1952 and was a primary art teacher.

In 1954, the Painting Association of Shijiazhuang City held a personal painting exhibition in the same year.

Since 1978, she has gone to "Silk Road" eight times to sketch. She has traveled 100,000 kilometers and lasted three years. She has become the first female painter to circle the Great Desert in China. [1] He went to Japan to hold the Silk Road Painting Exhibition and made an investigation along the way of the Tang Dynasty.

In 1986, he participated in the Baghdad International Plastic Arts Festival with his works, and created eight works reflecting the customs of the western Arab countries, which were exhibited in the Chinese Art Museum.

In 1989, he drove his own car from Beijing, across the Pamir Plateau, as far as Turkey and Istanbul, and completed a foreign Silk Road survey.

Driving again in 1991, he inspected the source of rivers, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Yunnan-Guizhou-Sichuan, the Silk Road Port on the Sea, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Great Wall.
