吴家跃，男，1958年6月生于四川省会理县，1987年7月毕业于四川美术学院版画系。现为四川省西昌学院艺术系美术学教授，四川省美术家协会会员，凉山州美术家协会副主席。
作品多次参加日本、斯洛维亚、波兰、希腊、挪威、芬兰、保加利亚、加拿大、荷兰等国家举办的国际版画艺术展和国内艺术团体举办的艺术展。
其作品冷峻、凝重、简洁而不失轻快，细腻而不失粗犷，既体现了入世的思想，又反映了传统的文化精神，充分展示出纯艺术与高技术的嫁接功力。
