张存刚男，汉族，1960年11月出生于内蒙古呼和浩特市。1986年毕业于内蒙古师范大学美术系，2001年评为副教授，2006年评为硕士生导师，2011年评为教授。现为美术学院教授，硕士研究生导师，中国美术家协会会员、内蒙古美术家协会版画艺术委员会委员。
教学工作：为本科生讲授黑白木刻、艺术实践、色彩、外出写生等课程，指导版画专业本科生毕业创作。带“版画艺术研究”研究生，为美术学学术型硕士、艺术硕士、教育硕士讲授黑白木刻、油印套色木刻等课程，指导全日制硕士、艺术硕士、教育硕士毕业创作。长期以来，担任版画教研室主任，根据有关文件精神编写美术学、绘画等专业的教学计划和大纲；参加精品课建设，为省级精品课《铜版画》课题组成员；为校级精品课《黑白木刻》、《油印套色木刻》等的课程主持人；同时负责建设、维护、维修版画工作室及机器设备。
