颜重鼎，甘肃省定西市人，1950年生。毕业于四川美术学院绘画系。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国版画家协会会员、副研究员、定西市政协委员；现供职于定西市群众艺术馆，从事美术辅导、艺术创作和艺术设计等多项工作。主要特长为版画、油画及雕塑，其作品获全国铜奖三次，获甘肃省一等奖五次，获敦煌文艺奖三次。
主要代表作有：
版画：《拉卜楞之晨》入选第二届全国青年美术作品展览；《瀚海风》入选“前进中的中国青年”全国美术作品展览并获甘肃省美术作品一等奖；《霜晨》在‘93全国美术作品大展’中获铜奖，入选全国第五届版画三版展览，获敦煌文艺奖三等奖；《远方的牧场》获甘肃省美术作品一等奖；《禽流感祭》获第十届全国美术作品展览铜奖、甘肃省美术作品特等奖，被中国美术馆收藏并在《美术》杂志发表；《甲申禽流感祭之二》获第十七届全国版画作品展览铜奖，在《美术》杂志发表并被贵州省美术馆收藏。
油画：《康多的秋天》入选中国油画艺术展览；《远声》入选第八届全国美术作品展览并获甘肃省美术作品二等奖。
水彩画：《陇南八月》入选第七届全国美术作品展览并获甘肃省美术作品一等奖；《旺藏的秋天》入选中国水彩画艺术展览
