陈设(1942.11—)上海人。擅长版画。1962年毕业于苏州工艺美术专科学校，在苏州工艺美术研究所桃花坞木刻年画创作室整理民间年画。1964年入苏州市工艺美术学校任教，绘画专业副教授。作品《五小花开在太湖畔》、《苏州新貌》、《锦绣江南》(组画)、《山村新医站》、《惊飞鸟》等入选全国美展。《盛夏》、《雪日》、《冬夜》等分别为中外美术馆、博物馆收藏。江苏省版画院高级画师，中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员，江苏省水彩研究会会员，苏州市美术家协会顾问，江苏版画协会常务理事。主要作品有水印木刻《冬夜》、《春雏》、《今日渔家港》。作品《五秋艳》1988年在首届“民主与法制”全国书画艺术大赛中获特别奖，《春雏》等获江苏省1986、1994、1995、1996年版画创作优秀作品奖。1997年有作品在纪念周恩来诞辰100周年全国书画展活动中荣获一等奖。辞条辑入《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》、《中国当代美术家名人录》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等。
